Majority of Union Workers are government workers rather than private-sector employees

"For the first time in American history, a majority of union members are government workers rather than private-sector employees" according to a New York Times report.

Andy Stern the president of the 2.2 million-member Service Employees International Union (SIEU) is the most frequent outside visitor to the White House and helped shape health-care legislation. Remember the $60 billion backroom giveaway where the Democrats agreed to extend special exemption from the Cadillac tax to any health plan that is part of a collective-bargaining agreement until 2018. Any of the rest of us that have a higher-end plan will start paying the tax in 2013.

Administration policies are creating more and more government union jobs. Private-sector unions workers are getting special treatment by the Administration and the Democrats. So who will these union voters be indebted too?

Founding Fathers on the issue...
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.” Samuel Adams

“When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”
Benjamin Franklin
